Restaurant Manager
Responsibilities:
Managers are involved in all aspects of the operation: training, hiring, mentoring, menu development and cost analysis. Furthermore, we ask managers:
- Create an environment where all team members feel welcomed, challenged, and appreciated.
- Develop individuals and build teams that are equipped to impress every guest.
- Align our service with the McKenzie Service Model.
- Make a daily commitment to quality by completing checklists and ensuring freshness in everything we serve.

At McKenzie Brew House, you will work hand in hand with the owners to complete projects and build an amazing business. We currently have three locations – Chadds Ford, Malvern & Devon – with management opportunities at each. You will be asked to bring your unique skillset and education to the table to help us grow!
Brewer
We are passionate about beer. Every batch is brewed using the highest quality ingredients to deliver unmatched purity in every pint. We strive to perfect our recipes in hopes of continually exceeding our Guest’s expectations.
Our brewers are skilled brewing professionals that take pride in creating amazing beer. They are involved in everything from recipe development & sourcing to marketing and everything in between.
Service
We look for team members who are hard-working, confident, open-minded, and who enjoy making people smile.
Servers play a crucial role in in the guest experience. Our servers instantly make guests feel comfortable, know the menu inside and out, and ensure everything is absolutely delicious. Our mission is to take exceptional care of our guests, so they keep coming back.
Food Runners are the backbone to our success. They are responsible for setting up the expo line and maintaining fresh food throughout the shift. Food Runners communicate with the kitchen to ensure food is prepared quickly and with precision, then they deliver the food to our guests with a warm smile.
Hosts play a crucial role in the success of our restaurants. A warm, friendly greeting is one of the most memorable moments for a guest. Our hosts understand the importance of saying “hello” and “thank you” whenever guests enter and exit.
Bussers are vital to providing a clean dining atmosphere for our guests. They work efficiently with precise attention to detail and strong sense of urgency.
Bar
McKenzie devotes much energy into providing world class beer, expertly prepared cocktails, and entertaining atmosphere for its bar patrons. More than half of McKenzie’s square feet is devoted to its bars. Bartenders are our primary ambassadors. Their positive attitude, beverage ability, appearance and honesty are vital to our success.
Bartenders are responsible for welcoming and getting to know guests. They know regulars by name as well as their preferences and needs. All bartenders are expected to generate regulars of their own.
Back of House
The kitchen is the heart of our restaurant. Cooks are responsible for handling and prepping all food with care. Recipes are provided and used to ensure a consistent product. Cooks learn to operate multiple pieces of equipment. They are responsible for keeping equipment and prep areas safe, clean, and operating effectively.
Line cooks must communicate directly with expo and food runners to ensure food is presented and delivered in a timely manner. Line cooks will be given the opportunity to be cross-trained.
We look for line & prep cooks who are hard-working, team players, and willing to get their hands dirty.
